Policies

REGISTRATION: 

Workshop/class selection and any customization information for your project is required at the time of booking on our registration form. Registration is a must for all public workshops so we have ample time to get your project materials ready for you. 

WORKSHOP CANCELLATION POLICY: 

Due to the custom nature of our studio, registration fees are on-refundable. Registration cancellations made at least 72 hours in advance of a workshop will be granted a credit for a future workshop. The credit is valid for up to one year from the original scheduled workshop. Due to staffing, we research the right to cancel workshops if attendance is below 4 attendees. You will always be notified of a cancellation. 

PRIVATE PARTY CANCELLATION POLICY: 

A deposit is due when booking your private party. This deposit goes toward your total cost. The remainder of the total cost is due by the start of your party date. If you choose to cancel your private party, the deposit will not be refunded due to the nature of our studio and the demand for private party time on our calendar. 

PROJECT CHANGE REQUEST: 

If you would like to make changes to your project within 72 hours of your workshop or party, we would be happy to accommodate your request for a $10 stencil recut fee, payable upon the start of your workshop. Changes made prior to 72 hours are done free of charge. (If applicable - not all projects require customization or a stencil) 

AGE RESTRICTIONS: 

Due to the tools used, stain, paints, other materials and liquor license rule, infants and children under the age of 16 are not permitted in our Studio while a workshop of this sort is being help. Additional age restrictions may apply for parties or workshops held at bars or taverns due to liquor license rules. This does not apply to workshops that are labeled for children or as family friendly - any ages are welcome to those. For children under the age of 16, we do offer the ability to book private children or teen parties! Contact our studio or see our private events page for more information. 

SAFETY WAIVER: 

I understand that I will use and/or be exposed to a variety of art materials depending on our event. I agree to be responsible for any damages to the Art Bus’ tools, equipment or facilities, to the extent and in the percentage I cause such damages. I recognize there may be certain inherent risks in participating in the Art Bus workshops. I agree to take precautions and observe all Art Bus policies, recommendations, directions, rules and warnings; whether provided orally or in writing. I understand that participation in Art Bus workshops and events involves potential (although highly unlikely) personal injury or loss or damage to personal property. I assume full responsibility for personal injury to myself and my child (if applicable) and my personal belongings. I also understand that an inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. I further agree to release, hold harmless, and discharge the Art Bus, their instructor and their owners for any illness, injury, loss or damage incurred by me or my child while participating in Art Bus workshops or my prescient (and my child’s presence, if applicable) in the Art Bus facilities whether caused by me, a third party, or the Art Bus. I agree to indemnify and defend the Art Bus against all claims, causes of action, damages, judgments, costs or expenses including reasonable attorney’s fees and other litigation costs which may in any way arise from my child’s or my participation in the Art Bus workshops or presence in the Art Bus facilities.

PHOTOS: 

We love sharing photos of the beautiful work you create at our workshops through our social media and print advertisements! If you would prefer not to share your photo, please opt out of the picture taking during the workshop. I also consent and give permission for the Art Bus to use any photos of my designs that may have been tagged on our social media pages or have used #theartbusybyemma. Please do not share the photo or tag us if you prefer to keep the image private.

BY REGISTERING FOR A WORKSHOP OR BOOKING A PARTY IT MEANS THAT I HAVE READ THE ART BUS POLICIES AND THIS SAFETY WAIVER AND UNDERSTAND THEM.  I FURTHER UNDERSTAND THAT BY CHECKING THE “ACCEPT POLICIES” BOX, I VOLUNTARILY SURRENDER CERTAIN LEGAL RIGHTS THAT I MIGHT OTHERWISE HAVE.
